Healthy lawns also require proper watering methods. To decrease the chance of fungus on turf, remember to water early in the morning, before 10:00 a.m. whenever possible. The hot St. Louis summers also make it necessary to water for at least 15 minutes every day or approximately 45 minutes every other day.
